The coordination layer for the household.

The mental load of running a home is one of the most universal, most emotionally expensive problems there is — and the tools families actually use for it are a paper chart, a group text, and one exhausted person's memory.

The opportunity

Nearly every shared household has a default project manager — the person who notices, plans, assigns, reminds, and verifies. That work is invisible to task apps, which count completed tasks and hide the planning that produced them. Calendars know about events, not the things events require. Allowance apps digitize payouts without making the underlying work trustworthy. Co-parenting tools handle custody but treat the family's daily operating system as someone else's problem.

Halpo addresses the household as one connected system: the work, the knowledge behind the work, the economy that motivates it, and the boundaries that keep it safe — across every family shape, including the separated ones existing tools serve worst.

What makes Halpo different

The invisible work, measured

Halpo's ledger distinguishes cognitive work (planning, assigning, approving) from execution — turning the fairness argument every couple has into a chart they can act on. No to-do product does this.

A verified kid economy

Points earned through verified work on an append-only ledger, redeemed toward goals with parent-shaped allocation (say, 80% cash / 20% college fund). Trustworthy enough to carry real stakes, from age 6 to 16.

Co-parenting with privacy walls

The child is the shared surface; the households stay private. Custody sync, readiness handoffs, and neutral drafted communication — structural privacy no bolted-on sharing model can retrofit.

Ambient AI, by principle

A household knowledge graph plus a deterministic readiness forecaster — AI that absorbs the remembering and drafts the fix, never a chatbot. Trust is the moat consumer AI products keep burning; ours is designed in.

Where we are

Halpo is live in private beta on iOS and Android, in daily use by real families — including blended and co-parenting households, the hardest configuration in the category. The product spans the full loop today: chores and verification, the points economy with redemptions, custody rhythms and calendar sync, household knowledge capture, and AI-drafted planning assistance.

We are deliberate about this stage: a coordination product earns the right to grow by being trusted with one family's Thursday before it asks for a million of them.
