What we collect
When you request a beta invite, we collect:
- Your email address — the thing we actually need.
- Your phone platform (iPhone / Android), if you choose to tell us — so we invite you to the right store.
- The time you agreed to this policy, and basic technical details of the request (the page it came from and your browser's user-agent string) — for consent records and abuse prevention.
The website itself sets no analytics or advertising cookies and runs no trackers. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) may log requests — including IP addresses — as part of ordinarily operating a website, and we apply short-lived, IP-based rate limiting to the signup form to keep bots out; we don't store those IPs with your signup.
What we use it for
- Sending you a beta invitation when a spot opens.
- Occasional updates that are strictly about the beta and Halpo's availability.
That's the whole list. No newsletter, no marketing partners, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Where it lives
Signups are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (United States), inside infrastructure only our team can access. Google acts as our data processor; no other third parties receive your information.
How long we keep it
Until you join Halpo (at which point the app's own account terms take over), you ask us to delete it, or the beta program ends and the list is retired — whichever comes first.
Your choices
- Leave the list / delete your data: email [email protected] and we'll remove your signup promptly.
- See what we have: same address — we'll send you the (short) record.
Children
Halpo is a family product, but the beta list is for adults: this form isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect signups from anyone under 13. If a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and note the new date above. We won't quietly expand what we do with your email.
